Here’s an unlikely story. A nice Jewish boy from Melbourne flies completely off the rails, spends a decade screaming Hebrew into a rubber chicken, and accidentally kills some of Israel’s most beloved songwriters. Then, before the dust has time to settle, he sets off on an 8-year quest to uncover his grandparents’ extraordinary Holocaust survival stories, ultimately turning them into the multi-award winning novel, The Book of Dirt. Now, he is brining a his punk rock ethic to the forefront of the fight against diminution and sanitisation in Holocaust storytelling. Come and hear it from the guy who did all this and more.
